A practical approach to complex systems
A practical approach to complex systems
I am a systems analyst and PhD student focused on sustainable recovery, governance, and the relationships between communities, policy, and place. My work brings together academic research, applied practice, and public-facing insight to better understand how systems function, where they fall short, and how they can support more durable and equitable outcomes.
My work is shaped by experience in operational and service environments, where preparedness, response, and systems thinking were part of everyday practice. That background continues to inform how I approach research now: not as something abstract or confined to academic spaces, but as work that should remain connected to real people, real systems, and real-world decisions.
